  1. Hi, do you have anyone help you with UK/Aus taxes for rental property? i'm looking for some help in this area and don't know where to start Thanks, Rachel
  2. Hi, did you find an Accountant/Tax advisor who could help you with this, i'm also looking for one
  3. Hi Alan i'm looking for someone to help with UK and Aus tax, specifically about UK property rental income for my Aus tax return. is this something you do or if not can you recommend someone? Thanks, Rachel
  4. Did you find an Accountant/Tax Advisor that knew the UK/Aus rules? I'm going to be faced with the same problem some time soon and want to know what i'm up for
  5. Hi, did you find anyone? i was going to post exactly the same question...
  6. A couple of things you might want to try Kindergym at Western Youth Centre Marion Road (between Henley Beach Rd and Sir Donald Bradman Drive) Tuesday and Thursday mornings Playgroup at Reedbeds Community Center (just off Tapleys Hill Road) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday mornings Apex playground at West Beach (Burbridge Road on left as you drive from beach to airport) would be great for Master 4
  7. Hi Julia, I'm in Henley Beach South with a 2 year old girl. PM me and we can sort something out Rachel
  8. Couldn't agree more, I did all the research to bring my beloved VW Golf and at estimated $8,000 for shipping and all the other costs it was simply not worth it. Insurance was limited options and much more expensive
  9. I'm in Henley Beach with an 18 month old daughter who loves to play with older kids....
  10. We used Pickfords but had both John Mason and Doree Bonner come out to quote, all came down to price and personal preference, we felt more comfortable with Pickfords. I used online estimator tools and came very close to the final packed number
  11. Singapore Airlines is my preferred. They offered 40kgs baggage allowance for migration (if first time activating visa), they have also increased their economy allowance to 30kgs to match Emirates. Emirates was also good but airport not so kid friendly. If your budget allows we stopped in Singapore for 4 days to try and get a bit of a break post UK departure before the arrival frenzy. We stayed on Sentosa Island, I hadn't been there for years but its been upgraded to include waterparks etc, ave recommended to Adelaide based friends looking for a holiday in the sun with their kids. Good luck
  12. I just used parcel monkey to courier some of our stuff, you can get a quote from their website. Stuff arrived from DHL, just be careful as you need to itemise contents and value, anything over $1,000 could attract duty in Aus. Advice from DHL was to list replacement cost used not new
  13. I also used parcel monkey to courier some stuff we needed urgently, 3 boxes with total weight 47kgs cost £250 and beat us here! Just watch out you need to specify and cost contents and anything over £1000 could attract duty, but shouldn't be an issue if you sent each box separately
  14. We've just used Pickfords for our move, won't know how happy we are until our stuff arrives, but no complaints so far. They were not the cheapest but did reduce price to match a competitors post.
  15. Welcome, it's a little chillier than I expected but it does feel good to be home
