Tax on a 457 Business sponsored visa

First of all, am sorry if this has been asked before.....i have searched and cant find anything...

 

Are you treated as an Australian resident for tax purposes for this visa?

Yep youshould be,

 

I had the same question when I started work and had to fill out a form for them, I called the tax office who put me onto their website, there's a little sort of questionnaire thingy to use to check. I'm on a 457 too so I can't see why your result would be different but if you log on you'll be able to double check.
