Can anybody Help?

Hi All,

We've asked before but thought it would be a good idea to add another thread in the hope of some replies. We have to go back to England at the end of April for the eldest boys wedding and the mother in-law isn't that well either. While we are there we were going to sort out a few more things from our house that we didn't ship originally and wondered if there is anybody along the M4 corridor that would be willing to put some things in their container and ship for us? Obviously we are happy to pay toward the costs, it's only a few things like a couple of boxes if anybody can help it would be much appreciated.

TBH if it is just a couple of boxes you can ship them air freight reasonably cheaply. They will then take a few days to reach OZ and you can collect them when you return. Otherwise you will be waiting 8-10 weeks at least for the stuff.

We sent a bike and an extra case over as it was cheaper than luggage allowance and we wanted them straight away. They ended up flying via Singapore which is where we wanted to stop over but coulnd't get a flight!! We went via KL nice but been before.

Thanks for the reply Rammygirl but we don't need this stuff urgently and can wait how ever long it takes to get here. Hopefully this will bump this post back to the top and get some more replies.

Just to reiterate Rammygirl, my wife went back to the UK recently and sent some more stuff over via fedex which wasn't too expensive, couple of large boxes for just over £100. Might be worth investigating if you can't find anyone with space in their container.

We shipped a few crates of stuff when we came back - Anglo Pacific was the company so check with them for a quote. It can take a few months via boat but may be easier than trying to find space in someone's container.
