Hi Donna

Thanks, I see your planning to go out in February!!! not long now are you planning to rent? its a dfficult choice isnt it  well we will have to compare notes, What airline are you going with? Ive reserved flights with Singapore airlines as they fly directly into Adelaide, we thought this was best with the little one, I flew with them a couple of years ago to Sydney and they were really good....

Congratulations on getting the visa :)

We are hoping for our visa perhaps in March or April but we have to then sell the house (officially) we have a few people already interested.

Good luck with the plans for the reccie & keep in touch let us know how you get on.

We also like the look of some of the northern suburbs, driven by price to it appears you get a tad more for you money but we will just have to have a good look around all the suburbs once we arrive 8)

Any info on what is a good area for bring up a young family would be great. Seems like there is alot of families who have had enough of the UK and making the move over to SA. I know my little boy would have a better life over there. I have friends in Hallett Cove and they love it!

Angela,

i wouldn't base all your look at real estate and what you get for your money on the North.

Have a really good look around and go to loads of opens before you make up your mind.

we did about 10 on the first saturday here and then bought a house on the sunday. there are bargains to be had in the southern bubs near the beaches as well. especially if you don't mind DIY. We got a bargain and a lot of work and TLC we are sitting pretty nearly 2 years later

Had to update my profile - our house sale fell through last week and it looks as if we are going nowhere for a while yet

It was all a bit too easy I suppose - it was a private sale at a good price but their buyers fell out so the whole chain collapsed. Fingers crossed for a quick re- sale.

We really like the look of Fulham Gardens but think it might be a bit out of our reah - otherwsie I think Seacliffe or Flagstaff Hill look good - think we will have to drive round once we get there.

Hi Donna

Sorry about your house sale - fingers crossed you get another buyer soon. We have been looking around Flagstaff too as looks lovely and nice school. Mind you also looking at loads of the beachy suburbs too so will wait and see what they are like when we get over there
