Have you had a look through real estate for a rental? There are quite a few on there and most contracts now are at least 6 months. It will give you an idea of what you can get for your money and what rentals are about -

If you are looking for furnished there are some options on here -http://www.adelaidebound.com/accommodation.html

Coming over in Jan. and on the look out for a 3 bedroom house to rent for 6 months maybe longer.

Hello there,

I know of a place that will be available from mid-late December onwards, belongs to a relative. It's in Adelaide Hills - Piccadilly. Private rental and fully furnished. Landlady has been renting to other immigrating Brits on short-term basis. Nice place to start out. Photos of place at: http://s242.photobucket.com/albums/ff109/piccadilly_photo/.

If interested I can give you her email address just let me know. Good luck with the move

Cheers

John

Yo Kilted dude

Shame you're not looking for 4 bed furnished in Hallett Cove, still Flagstaff & Aberfoyle are great areas, we can see us moving that when when we come to buy and our oldest really enjoys himself at APHS, something to do with the lovely girls in his class and the fact he has 6 periods of PE a week, his cricket is really comming on even if some of the girls turn up to play in their flip flops (sorry 'thongs'):biglaugh:
