Which Removal Company?

Hi all,

We have 6 weeks before we leave and need to decide between John Masons or White & Co to ship our goods to Adelaide. Any help on your experience using either of the above will be gratefully appreciated.

I am sure people will have had good experiences with White & Co, but just to let you know we didnt. Travelled from Lancashire, so the depo near yours may be better. Goods were damanged and some went missing, plus delivery was a lot lot later than what they said it would be!

John Masons get our vote...... we used them when we moved over .... June 2009! They did a fab job..... worked really hard for two days and we got all our stuff in perfect condition over here.... From the estimate right thru to the packing days.. it was all done for us and took heaps of stress off our shoulders!

We used PSS and they were fantastic, nothing broken, blokes both ends very friendly and helpful although the ones here did suggest to Pete that he go play golf with them and leave me to unpack lol.

We used John Mason, they were fantastic - packed everything for us very efficiently, kept us informed all along the way and nothing got broken. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We decided to go with John Masons, the container is coming to us though so at least we see everything from our house go into the container, not from here to a depot then into a container.

Are you having a whole container and if so how much have they quoted you for. I haven't priced any up yet but I'm budgeting for about 3500 for a whole one to pad a three bedroom house up .

Hi, we are having a full container, and its just over £4000 once all the extras are added onto your original quote.

Shop around for your insurance as well, you can get it a lot cheaper than what the shippers will offer you.
