Hello

We are coming over in October and looking at areas such as St Mary's, Eden Hills and Bellevue Heights.

Does anyone know what this school is like?

Thanks

Michelle

It's a very small private Catholic primary school. It finishes at grade 5 and your child moves onto coed Cabra for yrs 6 -12 or goes single sex to Marymount or Sacred Heart Middle for 6-9 then back together at Sacred Heart senior for 10-12 (if you continue with private schools). Sorry can't be of more help.

You will find that all the catholic primary schools in this south west region finish at yr 5. Most of them are small with maybe one class at each year level or a combined class. If your child is going to continue within the Catholic system for high school then this is not a problem as they will usually transfer to either Cabra, Marymount or Sacred Heart at yr 6. There are also St Marys and St Aloysius for girls R-12 and Christian Brothers College (known as CBC) R-12 for boys in the city, which is not far by bus , train or car from these suburbs you are looking at. The senior catholic schools in the SW area usually give a discount in fees if you have other children attending a SW sector Catholic primary.

In case you haven't looked here yet... http://www.myschool.edu.au
