Osch fees -2012

Hello

 

I was hoping to get some info / feedback from any other working mums/dads who use OSCH.

 

Like lots of Primary school children my child has recently returned to OSCH and attends the before and after school

Care. However I have been rather surprised by the sudden unexplained 40 % Increase ?

 

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced a huge hike in fees ? I know they have you by the short and curlies as

without this Facility you can’t work beyond school hours but this is extreme. (I think)

 

In fact I am interested in other fees structures ( not your personal payment ) but what your OSCH charges before any

Assistance you may get, so I can gage how ripped off I am (or not).

 

Are you charged by the hour / block of time/ per session or any other way.

$10 for morning care - flat fee 7.20-8.20am

 

$16 for after school care - flat fee 3.30-6pm

 

Private school but work collegue paying the same at state school - not sure if charged in hourly rates there though?!

We pay $10 for morning from 7am and $10 for afternoon

If we pick up by 5 and I think it goes up to $16 if you pick up after 5pm

I pay $9.50 for morning session at OSHC 6.30am - 8.30am

and $14 for afternoon session 3.15am - 6.30pm

vacation care is $45 per day or $50 per day if it is an excursion or incursion.
