We are in Flagstaff Hill and love it. There is a nice mix of people and nice shops and doctors etc. The primary school at Flagstaff Hill has quite a lot of English kids and is very welcoming to all. I don't think you can go wrong in this area (either Flagstaff Hill, Aberfoyle Park) There is also lots of nice walks and cycle tracks and only 10 minutes from Brighton Beach and the Marion and 30-40 minutes commute to city. The houses are also lovely and we know lots of people here both from uk and Aus and take everyone as we find them. So all good.
