Hi,

we have a temporary rental for 4 weeks until we decide where we want to settle, do you have to have a permanent address in order to enroll the children in schools?

Regards,

Shelley Scott:smile:

Hi

I think it depends on the school. Some "favourites" school, which are usually oversubscribed and only accepts kids from the zone, will ask for the proof of a permanent address within the zone. Others I guess, like private school won't ask you to provide one as long as you pay the fee.

kind regards

Not sure if it's the same for all but our school is zoned and they accepted our short term rental agreement (which was for 3 weeks) as enough proof that we were resident within the zone at that point.
