School suggestions

We are planning to move to Adelaide week commencing 18th Feb, my husband has a 457 sponsorship and we are all dead excited. I have a 16 year old and a 10 year old, the UK schools have been very supportive to both and have all the necessary transfer paperwork ready so that when we get another school it will be easy to get them settled in. My 16 yr old has done his GCSE so would he go straight into college it the UK?

 

Any useful tips would be good, we will have to look for property and schools in easy driving distance from O'Connell Street in City centre.

O'Connell street is actually in North Adelaide rather than the city centre, so you probably want to focus on places towards the northern side of Adelaide. North Adelaide itself is a really nice place to live, although somewhat on the pricey side. If you wanted to be near the beach then somewhere like Grange, Henley Beach, West Lakes or Semaphore would be good. If you are less bothered about the beach then the easter and north eastern suburbs would be worth considering.
