Ambulance cover

Hi, just wondered which ambulance cover is best to get, we are a family of 3 kids 7,5 and 7 months. Had a quote from Bupa so far.

We went through sa ambulance think was about $130 for the year for all of us, we now get it free with our medibank extras cover

We use Bupa, approximately same price as SA ambulance cover.

My husband works away some of the time, and therefore would not be covered if he had an accident whilst away.

i think SA ambulance cover holidays interstate, but if you regularly work away you are not covered.

Hi, we went to the post office, filled out a form, paid $130 for a family and it was as simple as that. We do not have private medical insurance, we are all covered for ambo trips here and elsewhere if holidaying.

I have always used SA Ambulance direct. Some of the private health funds only cover emergency ambulance needs, whereas SA Ambulance covers all call outs.
