Silent Auction for training course- Fundraising

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this thread.

We attended a recent event at the Capri Theatre in Goodwood due to a friend of my OH, we do not know the family directly.

 

I thought I would post the details of one of the item currently in the auction in case anyone on PIA was looking at doing this type of course.

Recently, eight year old Liam was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) and is currently undergoing his third round of chemotherapy. It's hard to imagine one minute having a healthy, happy son and the next you're told your precious only child is in for the fight of his life. Liam's mother Skye's whole world collapsed in a phone call.

In trying times, Skye and Chris are also expecting the arrival of their new baby later this year.

 

Due to Liam's illness, Skye is unable to continue to work as she will be continually caring for him. Friends want to ease the financial pressure they are facing.

There was a silent auction on the night but a training course was put forward for afterwards, details as follows:

 

An Australian recognised qualification from Target training including 1on1 personal training with a specialised target training trainer/assessor.

Qualifications to pick from are cert 2,3,4 and diploma level in retail and various business ie: sales, admin, small business.

Choose your own subjects and have career counselling with Jodie Duncan to match you with the best option.
