Can anyone comment personally on these 3 schools?

Hi all!

After much web-based research, followed by visits to many schools, we are hoping to hear from anyone out there who has any advice on three schools we have narrowed our search down to:

1. St Marys memorial school- Glenelg
   
2. St John the Baptist- Plympton
   
3. Emmaus Christian College (formally Bethesda)- South plympton
   

They all seem lovely, but as we do not know many people in adelaide, we were hoping for some extra guidance and advice from anyone who has personallly experienced any of these above schools.

I don't know about the first 2 schools, but I do know about Emmaus. It has existed for many years - as you say it was formerly Bethesda - and has earned a good reputation over those years. Many of my friends over the last 30 years have sent their children there and have been very happy with their education. We didn't have the money to send our children to private schools and remained within the state system which gives a good education but doesn't have some of the advantages smaller private schools have.
