Dental hygienist

Can anyone recommend a dental hygienist just for a scale and polish? Every time I try places for a price they go on about X-rays and all sorts that I don't want, I just want my teeth cleaned.

Any recommendations would be great. I travel around a bit, so as long as it's not too far south.

Somewhere which doesn't try to hard sell X-ray would be great. :-D

Do they have dental hygienists here? It's my dentists that do the clean where I go. I did get x-rays but the dentist gave me the option and I won't need them again for a couple of years. We (the whole family) go to the Health Partners dentists at Modbury but as we have extras cover with Health Partners it's just easier to go there and just pay the gap. They are lovely- although some of the dentists there are nicer than others - but I'm not sure I'd recommend them just for a clean.

There's a fab hygienist at tooth32 in Aldinga. It's a lovely dental practice and the hygienist gives you a little package which is included in the price with a tooth brush,tooth paste, tooth brush holder and floss. Have a look on their website.

I went to personal dental care in Gilles Plain. with smile, they charged 150 quid for an hour "cleaning"..

Quid?? You weren't impressed with them? I must say, I've never had a hygienist clean my teeth for anywhere near that long.
