Whilst opinions of areas for people wondering where to settle are always useful, you have to consider if someone lived in a rough area (like handsworth in Birmingham) everywhere in Adelaide would appear like a bed of roses, whereas if someone came from a posh area (like Bath, Windsor, etc) then most places would appear a little run down.

 

I have found a couple of wesbites which show house prices and crime levels. You then have some facts to back your decision on where to move...
