190 Visa

Visa granted yesterday.

So excited cant stop smiling.

Now the real work begins.

Got to arrive before 5th October 2015 and settle before 23rd Jan 2016.

Off to email the schools etc....

Not sure what age your children are but until you are here, state schools won't do much probably. High schools are zoned so you generally need to be living in the zone of the one your child attends. Primary schools have some zoned and some not. Again, where you live will depend on the school choices. If you live in the zone for a school they have to take your child, if outside of it but wanting them to attend, they don't have to.

Yay! Exciting! Are you sure that second date is right though? Normally you get five years.

Yes second date is right Blossom. Need to get there before son starts to Uni and daughter starts year 9.

I applied for my visa Nov 14th and still havent got anything back or a CO. Is this normal?

I had the same lol. I had a group of people around me and I couldn't tell any of them why I was crying lol.

Just sat here with silly grin all over my face. Still can't believe it is finally happening after so long. We first decided we want to move back in 2008, so it's been along time coming. However have done more today than have done in the past two months. Amazing what some good news can do!!!

congrats on the good news, it took us about 3 years I think from contemplating the move to actually setting foot in oz, but that pales in comparison to your migration journey.. Do you have a house to sell in UK before you can move?

I also remember the day that our visas came through. After daily pestering of the migration agent they were finally approved. We booked the next available flight!
