Driving the speed limit and tailgating

I can only assume no one has driven in Melbourne ? Now that's bad driving ! Drivers would rather kill you than give an inch or show some courtesy

When we had a recent visit to Adelaide we thought the driving wasn't too bad and certainly a lot better than Melb

Just got back from our second road trip to Melbourne and back, we drove during the night and got tail gated right through by "road trains" but I was unfazed and drove the speed limit. a couple of trucks even tried to overtake but didn't have the speed to do it within the overtaking area. it was quite unnerving but I held my nerve, After driving more than 5000 km's in less than 2 months in SA and VIC I can say it pays to drive the speed limit and not get intimidated!
