Anyone know a good mechanic for old caravan?

I'm looking to get a recently-bought old caravan (1971) serviced. It tows ok and seems pretty operational, but just want checks and maintenance done on hydraulic brakes and bearings before going on long journeys!

 

Can anyone recommend a decent, honest mechanic?

Hi Gus,

Sorry that I can't recommend anyone...but how about local places like Modern Trailers in Lonsdale...they may not do caravans but can maybe recommend someone.

The RAA may be able to recommend somewhere.

There's also Mick from MD Auto Care in Aldinga...he looks after many PIA members vehicles this side of the world.

 

There has been so many mechanics move out here and stay with me...I would have thought that one would have contacted you from this site by now.

OK Gus, a friend of mine had his old van completely rebuilt by this company and they made a very good job of it
