Splodge Cafe Marion

Hi All,

 

I took my little girl to Splodge Play Cafe on Diagonal Road in Marion this weekend. It is brilliant. $5 and under 3's free. You get a craft pack as part of your $5 and once in the cafe it shows you how to make the craft of the week with your pack.

 

They have 4 different rooms i think, messy play with paints (you can paint on the walls) a chalk board the entire length of the wall, craft materials, playdough, tv with movie of the day, outside play, sensory play, dress up's - you name it they have got it! All smocks etc provided. Kids nursery rhymes on it the background, so sweet for the kids!

 

They also have a small baby section at the front too with some baby toys.

 

There is a 'normal' cafe in there too where you can order lunches, teas, coffees, juices, cakes etc.

 

Overall a great cheap morning out! They have a website and a facebook page, just check the facebook page or call before you go as they have a lot of kindy groups and parties so arn't open to the general public all the time!

Splodge are good. I love their face painting and always seek out their stand/tent at events as kids love all that.

 

The cafe at Marion opened not that long ago. I did wonder about its location but guess parking is fine and it's easy to find. Might check it out with my SIL and niece

They have lots of parking on the same street which is great, got a park right outside :-) Worth a visit!

What is the maximum age for children?

I am pretty sure it stated 12 on the leaflet.

Sounds great. Is there much space for pushchairs?

Yes blossom, lots of room in the main cafe where you eat. I saw a couple in there on Saturday morning :-)
