Citizenship Application Date :  8 Oct 2019

Interview/Test Date :  15 Nov 2019 

Approval : 23 Dec 2019

Application to Date of Approval: 76 days

Ceremony date: 10 July 2020

 Done and dusted guys, done and dusted. It's been a long bumpy ride but we've finally arrived. Thanks for all the support folks.

Updating my citizenship timeline as an Australian :)

Citizenship Application Date :  15 Oct 2019

Interview/Test Date :  31 Jan 2020 initially but reschedule to Feb 17th 2020 

Approval : 17 Feb 2020

Ceremony date: 10 July 2020

Hey Jeremy,

you probably can apply citizenship in jan 2021, providing you did met the criteria,

“

  • You have lived in Australia for a period of four years, including 12 months as a permanent resident “.

Team, 

Quick question, my wife was in India for more than 1 year during 489 (Kid got a subsequent) when applying and granting 887. Will her Residence period in Australia be counted from the day she landed in Australia ?

Indeed this is a very quiet group. Anyone knows whether we can apply citizenship for kids as we await to fulfill the residency requirement? I noted that kids do not require to satisfy the residency criteria.
