No idea @Honey! 🙂 But I suspect our lovely COs are just humans, like us, and will be tempted to take the whole week off next week due to all public holidays coming... So my guess (only guessing!) is that there will not be much action next week.

Still hope for this week though! 😉

@Russki16-17 Months processing time !

good luck all of us

If you read the screen shot shared above the additional document requested for English requirements.

it is clearly written that

1. functional level English need to prove for all secondary applicant who aged more than 18 years.

2. validity of score is one year. i.e it should not be older than one year at the time of application. if you prove this score with 6 each in case of IELTS(Component level) than validity of this score is 3 years.( i.e you can attach 3 year OLD result if your result is 6 each)

3. once you submit the result which is not 1 year old at the time of application, No need to resubmit/rewrite the test it even though its one year old when CO allocated.

Hope that's clear the doubt.

So if I submitted while applying 489 which was new at that time, that will be acceptable till now.?????

Hi Everyone,
I was a silent follower all this time. I just wanted to share this with you because all this time I was in the same situation as you guys not knowing what will happen. I got my direct grant yesterday,
Applied: 23rd Feb 2018
Subclass: 489 Family Sponsored
Direct Grant: 17th April 2019
CO: Nicci
My application was not a straightforward case. We had our daughter when we were on 489 and my wife went back to our home country to deliver her. Then I applied 489 separately for her and finally we were back in AUS. So when I saw the requests made by CO's I thought that they will definitely ask for the daughter's medicals or stat declarations or something. But against all odds we got a direct grant. So patience definitely pays off and it's not always the worst as we think it is.
I wish everyone all the best and hope you will get your grant soon, especially those who have been patiently waiting for a long time. And I thank all of you for being a part of this amazing forum and Russki you have been such an awesome positive and supportive person and I can't thank you enough for being a hope for everyone. I will still stay around to see your grant..
Congratulations mate

Guys

In case if we want to update our job change while our application is being processed

Where we need to update?? Is it under our immiaccount Notification of Circumstances Changes?? or??

You don't want to update them about the job and if you have already done the form 80 those details are correct at the time you signed. So no worries.

Hello guys, I tried to add my new born in my current visa but didn’t find the options as immi website says.

1. Select update details but this section is only for updating address, email, passport and request to cancel TR visa.

2. Upload the form ( didn’t find this link in my immi account)

Let me know how to perform this task.

Thanks.

No, it’s not 1 year old when you apply 887.

you have to provide new one as in most of cases people spend around 3 years between 489 application to 887 application.

if you provide 6 each result to prove your function level during 489 visa then you can use the same result during 887 visa if it was not older than 3 years from the date of 887 application.

you could renew passport first , and then lodge 887 application. Or lodge first, apply second. if you current visa was not expired, you could do international travel.if you current was expired and bridging visa come into effect, you need apply bridging visa B for traveling outside AUS

I attached a payment receipt  for functional english. But, it was paid, when I apply 489 visa. Is that receipt valid for 887 visa?  Anyone knows ?

You have to renew your passport, its getting expired before 6 months. I think better to apply 887 with a new passport.
