think no. Don't count your days in bridging visa. I think in the website it said "You must currently hold an eligible visa. You must have held an eligible visa for at least a total of 2 years before you apply for a Skilled Regional (subclass 887) visa." so it means there is only 1 visa is counted. So if you hold the bridging visa for 2 years you can apply for 887 or if you want to use 489 visa as "an eligible visa" then you have to hold 489 visa for 2 years before you apply the visa 887.

Thanks for your reply @Dragon_Lavie I spoke to my migration agent and this is what he told me. I guess I will know in couple of months if I am eligible to lodge the visa while I was holding bridging visa.

The applicant must have lived in a specified regional area for a total of at least 2 years as the holder of 1 or more of the following visas: (a) a Skilled — Independent Regional (Provisional) (Class UX) visa; (b) a Skilled — Designated Area-sponsored (Provisional) (Class UZ) visa; (c) a Subclass 475 (Skilled — Regional Sponsored) visa; (d) a Subclass 487 (Skilled — Regional Sponsored) visa; (e) a Skilled — Regional Sponsored (Provisional) (Class SP) visa; (f) a Bridging A (Class WA) visa, or a Bridging B (Class WB) visa, that was granted on the basis of a valid application for: (i) a Skilled — Independent Regional (Provisional) (Class UX) visa; or (ii) a Skilled (Provisional) (Class VC) visa; or (iii) a Skilled — Regional Sponsored (Provisional) (Class SP) visa. 887.213 The applicant must have worked full-time in a specified regional area for a total of at least 1 year as the holder of 1 or more of the visas mentioned in clause 887.212.

Hi Guys,

This is to inform you that you can request Immigration to provide you HAPID for their child. Last Thursday i send them feedback that i request so many time to generata HAPID for my one year old son and today they generated HAP ID for me in my Immigration Account. Now i am happy as this was last required document from my side. now they can access my file anytime. Just to avoid delay in decision i request them.

Thank you,

Sandeep

Please can you assist with the email address you contacted them on.

Hi everyone,

I am a new to this forum. Very soon I am going to apply for 887 visa.

I have a doubt about  who are the family unit members and other family members .

Thank you,

MPK

Family Unit members are your family members like wife, kids who will be part of your application. Other  family members would be your brother, sister, father mother who would not be part of your application.

thanks,

my wife and child is accompanying member of my family unit. But I could not enter the details of my wife under the accompanying member. Is this because she is a secondary applicant and details are given earlier?

Hi Sandeep,

Can you please explain how you initially request them for HAP id for your 1 yr old. How you send them feeddback. My daughter is 26 month old and we have lodged visa 10 months ago. It ll be good for us if we arrange to get her medical done in advance.

Thanks in advance for cooperation🙂

I think it's first time that someone received grant within 1 day of submitting docs. Congratulation dear. Time to celebrate.
