today got a granted mail from CO Sophorn

🙂 At the moment, the Department is processing January, February and March 2018 applicants, so you may have to wait a little longer... 🙂

This week we had one member report that one March file was processed. 🙂 But it was not anyone's from this forum, this was the info from the Agent.

What might have happened really triggers a lot of assumptions, like 489 is treated as a 5 years frame visa already......that kind of frustration ......

Hi,

i am really frustrated here I need help I am going to apply for 887 soon after stayed 2 yrs in regional area and worked more than a year but the problem is I had to stay with my friends in city for 6 month because I couldn’t find a house where I got job and I had to travel every day to regional area for my work till I found a house in this town did anyone face this problem ? And is it going to affect my application? Please I need your advice thanks

Hi All,

First of all I wish all of you receive your visa soon:). I have applied for 489 visa which I received recently and we are planning to move to Adelaide in April. I was wondering if -

We can stay in Adelaide and do Work from home for company which is located in another state lets say Melbourne Victoria  till we do not find a job in Adelaide?

Can a company shift us from 489 to permanent visa(186 company sponsored) while we are on 489?

What is the best localities(safe and in city) to look for a rented home?

Do we have to pay something extra in advance to Landlord/Owner for renting the house apart from rent (as a security deposit)?   

What is the best way to secure a job in Adelaide, through companies or Are there any consultancies for IT sector?

What is the best way to get my resume with cover letter done to secure a job in Adelaide Australia, Can someone refer a company or site who helps to get it done?

I am a new to this forum world and unsure that if not this forum(where a lot of people have spent a certain amount of  time in Adelaide and may have already seen the situations which I am going to, in future)  isn't the right platform to take the advise, which one would it be? I would appreciate if someone can guide me please as my motive is not to disturb anyone on this forum by asking irrelevant questions.

I just feel that you must have had these questions once in your mind when you started your journey too. If you are able to make your way till here and have the opportunity to help someone like me to make their journey easier then you may not get much in return but a lot of blessings from those people whom you helped by spreading knowledge and experience you have earned. 

At-last, a big THANK YOU for guiding and advising me, I value and appreciate your time. It is certainly going to add value to my future decisions:)

I appiled in 4 March 18, haven't got reply, checked detail online, still marked Receiving. a bit stressful. I see some applicants who applied on Jan got approved. finger cross.

The most recent application was processed for file submitted on Feb 7th 2018. So far immi team is finishing the backlog of January 2018.

As AFP report processing time is 15 days and National police check is 24 hours.

They say 15 days processing, but mine was ready the following day. It took a week to arrive by post though 🙂

Hi there... you might have gotten your visa Bridging B by now.  But just in case you are waiting, it took is 3 working days. And this visa is effective from the day its granted.
