English test result for primary applicant? maybe they added some new co's for processing and one of them asking for it without realizing it's not required??? anyone know if it's the same co that requested both ajeets and 887 for primary applicants english results? how can we make sure our files are decision ready if they can ask for whatever they feel like asking on a particular day :S

99% of main applicants, when applied for 489, would have done their IELTS test over 3 years before applying for 887 (So it is expired). I would assume it is just a CO mistake asking the main applicant for his IELTS Test. Simply. there is no place to upload the English test certificate for the main applicant in IMMI account.

It  is  mentioned for dependents

@Stellajane yes i moved house when i was on 489, i gave them my new address in 887 file while lodging it. I am still in same regional area even my last and current post code is same.  Regarding IELTS, yes it expired before i lodged 887 so i understand i may need to do it again. I am the primary applicant. CO Michael.

all other requirements are okay as they are in my control. my only problem is point 4 where hospital has not updated immigration about the medical examination results. I spoke with immigration today and they have escalated it to processing team explaining my situation. lets see what the outcome is.

This health undertaking is free of charge. it is different from regular Medical examination required for immigration purposes. regular medical was done before she got 489. in that medical if there something not major enough to decline visa they grant the visa after parent signs health undertaking. this undertaking states that parent has to take the child for medical assessment after they arrive in Australia. It was arranged by Bupa but was done a govt hospital free of charge. Am okay getting this done again but the thing is that last time it took 3 months to get an appointment and now i only have 28 days to respond to what CO has asked. fingers crossed, have called and explained everything to home affairs contact line and they are taking it up internally with processing team. eagerly waiting for them to respond.

Hopefully it will get sorted..

Dear All,

I think we all need to collectively call immigration asking for primary applicant English test. When number of calls will increase on their desk for same question. It will be questioned in 3 days. Doesnt matter of same person calls twice. If they are receiving 100 calls a day and if calls increased to 300. Then there are high chances questions will be rasied.

Just decide a day and start calling....

If something is not part fact list, we should raise our voice.

Same mechanism, we can follow with email queries....

Graph below shows the number of grants received per month (green) and the amount of people that applied for 887 (yellow). Data taken from our tracker. Note the spike in applications received around feb last year and the current numbers in applications granted. Note that we have already 29 grants on our tracker this month, which is not a bad number. Please also bear in mind that most people are being contacted around 13-14 months for first contact. Fingers crossed.

We are currently assessing applications submitted before August 2018

It seems  soon we will reach a day where processing time supersedes the condition requirements it has already doubled the working condition timeline ! .. which is an insane situation.

Better as a group write to Immigration/minister/GFU in one email stating reasons and asking for better answers... this is going no where.. next year this time.. this forum will have 3000 pages by this speed...

It’s really frustrating the way immi treating applicants of 887. They just want to make sure time frame reaches 24 month and every should wait around 4 years in regional. It’s too painful I regret a decision to come to Australia. Don’t know what will make them understand our situation 😞😞

This is Petter Dutton kind of revenge! Each time we are nearly to get things through, but end up with longer processing time. We can see that the division within this Department. Petter Dutton sits behind and he doesn't agree anything! Because he thinks that his immigrant control policy help Liberal to win the election, and he called up those Giants together, then kicked off  previous PM -- Turnball who is more welcoming migrates..

Damm Petter Dutton, evil. The same games/tactics he has done in politics.

Sick of these politician, not doing well in economic growth incentives, but only keep these erratic and unprofessional conduct as well as continuous threats and bulling tactics we had no choice.

This whole process is like a lottery game in the meantime and I wouldn't be surprised when they start granting September'18 applications now after that new announcement...

I'm really wondering and very concerned about what they are "planning" to do with all the applicants from Jan to June 2018??? If they not changing their "strategy" pretty soon we will all ending up on a Bridging Visa...
