You are non resident, will you be able to book a flight and come back before 9pm tomorrow? If not you will be on bridging visa you can come back after they lift the travel ban but they haven’t release the date yet I guess they will ban the travel for at least another 2 months

I have bridging visa A, but I need bridging visa B to get back and I cannot get bridging visa B offshore. What are the options for me now

bro here a lot of people have lack of knowledge .. you are resident no worries bro kindly check this below link its clearly defined thanks....

The ban means people with student and working holiday visas, who are currently out of the country, will be unable to enter Australia for the foreseeable future.

Visa holders already in Australia can remain in the country.

If you can't come back at least tomorrow night, Home Affairs might cancel your visa as they did before with Chinese nationality

I have my 489 valid till end of July next year and i don't think they will cancel subclass 489 visas just because we are offshore at the moment , unless we try to fly into Australia after the ban start and ignore the travel ban if so the have a legal ground to cancel your visa, I will call DHA tomorrow and clarify what's happening.

I feel terribly sorry for those stuck in oversea. We all suppose to be PR ages ago or even citizen now but the government made us bloody temporary resident forever. Please look after yourself, it’s not our fault at all they are just too mean

Yes mate we would have been permanent residents if they did not take this much time on processing times   , i don't know what they want us to do now , abonden our homes belongings? jobs? pets? Vehicles?? not pay our rents to landlords and bills ?? , living in regional we don't have anyone who can help us with sorting out anything over there ,  it is absolutely not possible to reach Australia by 9 pm unless you are already on your way there when they made the announcement , what a joke

Please take the travel ban seriously.

Any temporary visa holder is subject to this new ban.

Looks like Global Visa Processing times page was broken, can't see any timelines for any visa.

https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times

Whatever immi account showing should be the final one, i.e. 24-28 months😢

I wish all CO's should work on 887 now as there is no point of granting 491/other temporary visas now until they lift the travel ban.

Gentlemen,

Seriously we don't have anything to do about this long howling processing time. I have seen there was a discussion among a few on this website. But not sure whether it was proceeded or not.

/Thanks,

I’ve been pushing everyone for an action. But unfortunately, nobody showed interest. Also, people are panicking now when they are banned from entering Australia due to 489. Imagine if we had taken some legal steps before, we would have been in a better situation.
