Complained and got this reply yesterday.

The Department of Home Affairs has received your feedback on 22 April 2020. Feedback on our processes and services is important and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Your application is within our published processing times. We can’t provide any updates on your application’s progress. If you lodged your application online, you can check the status of your application through ImmiAccount.

In regards to your processing time, we apologise for any delay you are experiencing during this time.

Although processing areas are taking all available steps to minimise any delays and finalise applications as soon as possible, the Department’s services are currently being impacted by COVID-19. We have provided the relevant processing area your feedback, and they may provide further response at their discretion, however no further response has been requested and we have now closed this case.

Please note that regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, the Department of Home Affairs is working closely with the Departments of Health, Agriculture and other agencies as part of the whole of Government response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). During this time we ask that you refer to the Department’s website www.homeaffairs.gov.au for further information and instructions relating to these disruptions. If you require additional information, we are continuing to update the Department’s website as further details become available.

You may find the following information helpful:

Processing times

You can view current processing times on our website on the page for visa subclasses or citizenship types. Global processing times will be updated monthly. You should check regularly to ensure you remain aware of the current processing times.

Two processing times are displayed in calendar days, indicating how long it is taking to finalise 75 and 90 per cent of applications submitted globally. Estimates of processing times are provided as a guide only. Individual processing times may vary from the published estimates.

Circumstances that affect processing times

We assess applications on a case-by-case basis, and actual processing times can vary due to individual circumstances including:

·         whether you have lodged a complete application, including all necessary supporting documents

·         how promptly you respond to any requests for additional information (remember to check your junk folder, as our correspondence may auto-filter into spam)

·         how long it takes to perform required checks on the supporting information provided

·         for permanent migration visa applications, how many places are available in the migration program

·         for citizenship applications, the time taken to attend a Citizenship Ceremony or receive a Citizenship Certificate.

Your correspondence will be sent to the relevant processing area for information.

We hope this information has been helpful to you.

Hey mate if someone got his 489 grant on 28 April 2018 then he canapply 887 on 28th or 29th April 2020?  Thank you

Yes if he was already living in the nominated regional city on 28 April 2018. Also if he did travel oversea within the 2 years he better make up for those days as well.

Hi Members am a silent follower of the group and today my file was opened requesting some more info. Has anyone done statutory declarations for a child confirming present and past appearance? The case officer said this can’t be done by the  GP.

Does anyone know where I can have a template of the statutory declaration of any idea how to do it.

Am very confused with this request.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Mate, can you share what you produced? Thanks

I have removed mine details and the person details who gave this declaration for me. So you can edit according to your details. She was my colleague who gave this declaration for me. May be it will help you. Secondly attached passport of the person who gave declaration for you.
