OMG. So how long they gonna freeze 887 visa for? Common immi, at least assign one or two CO for the 887. FARKKKK.

Apply on the 18th of Jan got PR. but in the immi website said 5 of Jan. that's strange.

immi donot bother to update... They suppose to update every 14 days but last time they updated aftet 21 days (3may- 24may)

well.... It us confirmed that my friend got 887.... And did not ask for medicals as well...

I suppose when they say 6 months they mean it.

Hi murali, i recon your visa is weeks away not months. I talked to immigration supervisor few days back and they told me that they were busy prioroty group 5 visa 487 and 886. He said that february applicant should get caseofficers by the end of june as they will stop processing priority 5 next financial year...

I just spoke to immi this morning asking about the progress of 887 visa. She confirmed that 887 visa is moving forward, but slowly. I applied in March, she said keep waiting sir, nothing i can do, keep waiting sir, goodbye sir.

Spoke to CO...he mentioned that application is in process and going through routein check...will contact to you if we need anything...and there is no time limit to finalise...and we cant help anything to improvise/fasten the process ...so hang on there:unsure:...cant do anything...just wait ....................................

Hi sraz, i really feel sorry for you mate. You must have got a very incompetent case officer otherwise ir should not take this much longer.. I know wait is very painful thing but you cant do much except lodging complaint against it...

If I attach all documents with my application now, can I be able to attach my work ref later? Or you think, I'll wait for my work ref and then attach everything all together? It may going to take another week to get my work ref.

Hi there,

I just applied for my 887 visa and launched my file last night. i guess i made two mistakes in application.

1. It asked me my last 10 years stay in any countries, in which i just described my last stay in back home India till I left the country. Apparently I had to fill the dates of arrival in Australia till today. Which i didn't.

2. While filling up accompanying and non-accompanying family members I filled up my spouse and kid in accompanying family members and in non-accompanying I filled up my parents details and elder brother as well who is over 18. I got advised that I had to fill my brothers details in "other family members".

 

Could any body advise me if its going to effect my application . Or if it is possible to amend my mistakes as i have launched my application already. I am getting paranoid while thinking about it.

 

advises will be really appreciated.
