Teen needing teeth braces

Hi

I was wondering where I may be able to go in Adelaide for reasonable costing of teeth braces.  My daughter is wanting them for her lower teeth.  I had a quick look and cannot believe the cost of them.  Metal being the cheapest may cost anything from $7k upwards.  Any suggestions please.   TIA.

That seems very steep. We have relatives with full braces and who didn't pay close to that. Cannot imagine its more than doubled in price in just a few years. 

I'd probably phone round a number of dentists and get their pricing. I tend to shop around for dentists and our son goes to a different one to us and I'm planning on changing to his one also after 2 years with my current one. Mainly because of pricing and I am fed up being asked for all these expensive extras every single time I go in.

Thanks for that.  My daughter only has one tooth that is a little crooked as well - so it seems ridiculous to pay all that just for one tooth.
