Two years residency for dependent applicant

I am with 489 visa, currently living in Adelaide. I am going to apply for 887 visa at the last week of February and I am the main applicant. It will be 02 years for me at the February end but my wife and kids are living with me for the last 1.5 years. Please tell me is the 02 yrs residency also needed for my wife and kids?

Not required; but they should be in Adelaide when you file for 887 and also when the decision is made for the grant. All the best!

Hi guys, just one question please somebody  in this forum do answer it. I wont be able to complete my residency of 2 years in Australia short by a month to complete two years due to some compelling  reason back home. What options do I have now?
