Hi Guys,

I am Jeeva from India recently migrated to Tasmania (489 skilled migrant state sponsorship by Tasmania), I am here about 1 month I cannot find jobs even casual. I applied for some jobs on other regionals some recruit agencies called if you're here can arrange for an interview. In that case, what should I do? May I go other regional? Must compulsory should get a release letter from the current state? How do explain my situation? Looking for suggestion & help.

My Visa condition is 8539 ( It does affect when I apply for 887 visa after 2 years )

you cannot move out of regional area until ur 887 is granted.

u can ask dept. to get release which depends on lot of circumstances and release from state is highly unlikely for 489 Visa...

You need to stay there for at least 3 months. Keep on applying jobs and keep the rejection letters with you. And side by side keep applying jobs in other regional areas too. They will give release letter just keep on trying. I am not sure about your case but one of my known person got release letter from Tasmania and moved to Victoria. Everything depends upon individual's situation. So keep on trying ... All the best.
