IELTS REQUIREMENT

Hi Members,

I am the dependent of the main applicant ( my husband)

I have done General IELTS in Feb 2017  with overall band score 5.5

We applied 887 visa in July 2019 and waiting for the respond.By the way, 3 years validity period of that IELTS exam is going to be finished in 2 days time.

Can any one, please give me an advise, whether I need to provide the IELTS results again?

If you have submitted valid English(ielts/pte/other) at the time of application— you don't need to re-do again. But if you have submitted English evidence after the application submission and it is more than one year by the time it is assessed, they will ask new evidence

I have submitted the IELTS results( to 887 application) , what I have done at the time we applied to migrate to Australia.It was in Feb 2017

I think it's better to resubmit the new IELTS in case.

Hi Members,

I am the dependent of my husband's 489 visa application and the situation had remained the same when we applied for the 887 in July 2019.

I did my IELTS in February 2017 and submitted at the time of migration in 2017 and uploaded the same original results to the 887 application in 2019.

The IELTS certificate validity period of 3years has been expired in February 2020. I have paid to sit for the exam in case but the exam has been postponed to the June.

In my situation, do I really need to provide the results again as the dependent  or will the CO will except the provided results what I have submitted( which had not been overdue when we applied the 887 in July 2019)?

I am bit nervous, this will make a delay for our application. 

I have raised this question before. But, didn't get a proper answer from who have had the experience under the same scenario. Can someone kindly answer my matter???????
