Documents required to verify changes in name

Dear all,

Please advise me regarding my below-mentioned issue.

I am originally from Sri Lanka and currently on 489 visa. Usually, a Sri Lankan name includes the family name/tribe name, first name and middle name and the surname.

Accordingly, my documents from Sri Lanka include the family name+first name+middle name+surname. But my passport shows only first name+middle name+surname. In Sri Lanka, it is not mandatory to include the family name in the passport. Initially, when I applied for 489 visa from Sri Lanka, I submitted an affidavit for this difference in name and I was not inquired any further about that. All my documents in Australia show the name as on the passport.

In my application to 887 visa, I attached the same affidavit. My concern is that, is it sufficient to prove that the both names refer to the same person? Am I required to submit any other document?

Please educate me regarding this issue.
