Could you please advice me on following.

  • I'm on visa subclass 489 which will expire February 2021.
  • Already fulfill requirements for Visa subclass 887 and submitted application in April 2019 (status shows - further assessment)
  • Got the Bridging visa A (BVA) which will active after February 2021. (can't enter to the country using this, without BVB, can't apply for BVB from outside Australia)

I have doubt about,

  1. At the moment I'm outside Australia, can't enter to country due to COVID restrictions, what should my next step since Subclass 489 going to expire within next 3 months.
  2. They asked to resubmit police clearance during May 2020, and submitted those to assess visa subclass 887 , however there is no update yet (19 Months passed).
