Making the move

Hi everyone.  Just come across this site. My family and I are making the move next week. Feeling very anxious and a whole other mixed emotions. Be great to speak to anyone that felt the same.

We moved out to Adelaide 5 years ago and had never been to Australia so had lots of emotions to run through and plenty when we arrived to. 
These are pretty normal and if you have made your mind up to come to the other side of the world you just need to give it a good go when you are here. 
We have not been back to the UK and can’t say I want to either but it does take some time to settle but once you start work and making friends it feels more normal. Just take a bit of time to have a look around and enjoy the beautiful beaches.

It sounds like you've had quite the journey moving to Adelaide! Emotions are definitely a part of such a big move, but it's great to hear you're settling in.
