Hi all Well we have been up half the night as my wee one has been really sick - she's now fast asleep! I haven't been able to sleep with worrying what I do if they are poorly in Oz and we are working and they have to stay off school. We have my folks who would look after them here, and I won't have that over there. It's things like this that out doubts in my mind for coming over, even though I really want to Thanks, Lisa

Hi Lisa,

 

Just to ease your mind a little............some jobs (usually permanent positions) have so many days 'Carers leave'. You can take time off to look after a dependant and still get paid for it. I had to take a couple of days off for my daughter earlier this year and took Carers leave for it.
