Dress Circle Apartments?

Hi

Was getting pretty desperate with regard to finding short-term accommodation which would give us a few weeks in/near CBD to sort out all the usual stuff such as TFNs, Bank accounts, car hire, and job stuff etc. So, we decided to pin our colours to the flag and booked a three-week stay in the Dress Circle Apartments in North Adelaide. They look nice from the pictures we've seen and we have had no problems with booking or communicating. In fact they seem very friendly people from their e-mails. Lokked at some feedback from others who have stayed there, so it's all looking good at the mo (fingers crossed). Does anyone have any experience of having stayed there or does anyone know of its rep anyway? Does anyone work there?

Cheers for any feedback you can give as always

:notworthy:

Best wishes

Alan

Cheers Andrew. That's a good start at least. We went to an Indian resteraunt along the main 'drag' in North adelaide last year, but it was dark so we didn't really see what the place is like really. Sounds promising. Many Thanks

Hi,

I live in a flat in Archer street, North Adelaide, it is not a dress circle flat but many of my neigbours are, I have not heard of any problems, and it is a great area to base yourself at for a while when you arrive, a few minutes to the city and plenty of cafe's, bars ect on your doorstep.

As the name suggests in north Adelaide and can be very pricey ie $650.00 per week for a one bedroom unit. I believe some have been updated in recent times for the Business types staying for the week rather than using a Hotel or Motel.

The main occonnel street strip can get a little noisey on the weekends due to the Pub scene with a number of North Adelaide residents complaining about the noise, has got plenty of eateries. No need to cook;)

Hi Alan, can't comment on the exact apartments you have booked with but we stayed at The Grand Apartments in Melbourne Street, North Adelaide for 2 months after we arrived late last Nov. The North Adelaide location was great and the kids loved going for walks in the parklands in the evenings. The CBD is very accessible from there with regular buses running into town. We even walked down on a few occasions. You'll enjoy the location.
