Hi, we are moving to Adelaide on 30th April, arrive 2nd May, on a 475 visa. We have a 14 yr old daughter and obviously want her to go to a good school. A good school could possibly be the deciding factor as to where we will settle. If anyone could advise we would be most grateful.

That's quite a difficult question to answer and you'll probably get several, fastly different, responses.

Adelaide High, Mitcham Girls, Unley, Urrbrae, Marrayatville all have good reputations and are popular which may mean they are harder to get into. If you are happy to pay the choice is endless but it depends what you want to buy .... and your price range!

Good luck with the choice.

Adelaide is HUGE. There are so many possibilities and so many suburbs. Perhaps as Rachel has suggested you can give us a wish list of where you want to live, Beach, Hills, close to City ect, then we can perhaps offer you our views on what WE think is a good school in the areas we live in. I can't really even suggest checking out the Department of Education website until you've got an idea of suburb choice. Here's the website anyway.
