Organised bike ride thru Linear Park

If anyone is looking for something to entertain the kids this week of the school holidays, I saw this in our local Messenger. Think the ride is starting around Dernancourt and ending in Historic Drive, Highbury with a sausage sizzle on the green. I'll make sure I'm out!!!

Ride through Linear Park: 11.00am

Environmental information session: 12noon

Suitable for children ages 5 to 12 years and their families

Cost: $2.00 per person for BBQ lunch

Ride your bike through the picturesque Linear Park and learn about the local environment from our biodiversity expert, then enjoy a sausage sizzle lunch.

Participants are asked to supply their own bike and helmet. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Bookings are essential.

LOL it's more to do with the dog (ours) being driven mad hearing lots of kids nearby and not being able to go and eat - oops I meant play with them!
